Title: FREE CB, But you must come get it, and it must stay in SCCX
Post by: Orange X on June 20, 2012, 03:57:36 PM: I have an older CB that was given to me along with a brand new mic, wiring harness, mounting bracket and hardware. All you need is an antenna. I want to give it to someone who will use it until they can afford to upgrade and then maybe pass it along. THIS IS NOT TO BE SOLD. I'm interested, but teetering on the verge of purchasing a new X, so I'm not going to look to mod anything until I know the outcome of this purchase.

If it's around in a week or so I'll come get it myself!! I'm just up the road in San Clemente!!

Those are buttons??? Do they light up? I only like thingies that light up. What the heck is a CB anyways? Agh, who cares, if those thingies light up, I'll take it. Whatever it is.

Post by: Orange X on June 21, 2012, 04:56:48 PM: Hey Ryan I have found that " LIL Wilson" is the best thing besides "firestick". The firestick are better if you want to spend the $$$. You will prolly have to buy a mount and cable with it though. The Lil Wilson is magnetic and will stick on roof and has cable attached. Check out lil wilson 1000 on amazon for a great price. Firestick, mounts and cable are on there too. Maybe other guys on here will know more, I can only speak from experience..

Also on the right side in that link it shows the mount and coax cable that you will need. You might want to look at getting the quick disconnect to if you are going to mount to your roof rack. http://www.amazon.com/Wilson-Series-Magnetic-Antenna-Removable/dp/B003H3L3U8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1340331577&sr=8-2&keywords=lil+wil+1000+cb+antenna This is the one I have and it works great. It comes with magnet,and coax cable so all you do is stick it on roof and plug it in. ;D
