First off let say thanks to everyone for welcoming my son I to the group.. Great group of guys and girls.  We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again. The trains run were Gold Mountain (partial group), Rattlesnake Canyon (partial group), and Jacoby Canyon.

I'll let other, less n00b people talk about all the things. :)

Hey guys, although I didn't run with you all this time I'm glad I saw you guys airing up and had a chance to drop in and say hi,
A few friends and I had taken our dads out wheeling for the day, none of them had ever been on the trail with us and were absolutely amazed by what our vehicles could do.

I'd really like to get back on the trail with SCCX though. Please let me know when the next run is.

Great pictures Chad...it was a pleasure meeting you and Matthew. (he was great on the CB!)

The trails we ran were 2N02 east to the intersection of 3N03, then we ran west on 3N03 to Hwy 18.

From there we met the group that ran Gold Mountain (3N69) to run Jacoby Canyon (3N61), which we all ran together with 12 trucks.

This was a fantastic weekend, and thanks to all of the new members (totkid760, CAWoody, drshankles, lupinone, HEVAK), who turned out, as well as the veterans (SoCalX_tl11, usko99, NPGTech, Arch'sX, RBduffer, Shi819) that helped spot and make it fun for all.

Stephen (Steevo)...it was really cool you stopped by, hopefully you can make it out with us soon.  

Thanks to Nick (NPGTech) and his wife Shiloh (Shi819) for putting this together.

*** P.S. - for all the new members that attended, I know we all talked about mods/upgrades to your trucks, but I forgot to recommend something else that will really help you run trails here in California!

Pick up a copy of the FunTreks publication of Charles A. Wells,  Guide to Southern California Backroads & 4-Wheel Drive Trails.  Get the spiral bound edition, which makes it easy to flip between pages.  Copies are sold at Off Road Warehouse in San Marcos, and online at Amazon.com.

I'm glad to hear you all had a great time. I will try to make the next run; I really wanted to make this one but the trail requirements held me back. My lift kit is now installed so I should be good to go.

This was a fantastic trip.  My boys and I had a great time.  This is a great group to hang with.  We look forward to the next run. 

P.S. I'm keeping the rear mud flaps on, I want ot see how long they'll last on the rocks. :D
