Very cool. Nice shots. It looks like we might see some video from Amber too (that looks like a GoPro stuck on her driver's side door). The SCCX banner shot turned out good too.

Thank you Shiloh...for so many things more than your great photos.
So far...a great trip. :)

Well done Shi,

You all should try to make it to Moab next year. Time to make California represent! Between Amber and I, we have like 5k photos, so give us some time once we get back to go through them. I look forward to this trip all year long. Start prepping your calendars for next year. Best vacation I can imagine!

Well Chris, you just have to go next year for sure!
I plan on going next year, the other day I asked my wife if she planned on going with me. I am just trying to decide on whether to tow the trailer or rent a cabin next year.
-
If you take your wife, you should look into a room in a shared condo.
She will appreciate the amenities (nice kitchen, shower, etc.) and it really makes a nice place to come back to after a long day on the trail.
I think there will be a strong contingent of SoCal people going next year so this shouldn't be an issue. A condo for the week runs anywhere between $400-$600 depending on which room your reserve (queen bed/king bed master suite) which is a steal when you look at the other options versus the comfort factor. It saves money too, because we all shopped for food and cooked "at home" each morning/evening instead of going out.
Just a few ideas. Touch base with Terry Lindgren, as he rented a condo this year and will probably do the same next year. He was looking for cool people to room with, and you would fit that descriptor well.
I may have some room as well, depending on which condo we book out for next year. I will keep you posted as well.
