Update:  He turned up.

Our son was lost but now is found. Safe and sound. More details later but this ordeal is over. What a family of friends we have gathered here. Your prayers and support kept us going. Please give us some time to praise God for bringing Matt back to us and then we will fill you in on all the miraculous things that took place to bring us back together. Looking forward to a good nights sleep.

I didn't get any details, just that he turned up somewhere and that he's home now.
