It's supposed to be snowing again up here again this weekend -- I was just on Crab Flats Rd scavenging for firewood and it looked to be in pretty good condition for as far as I went. Anyone up to make a trip from Grass Valley Lake to Big Bear this weekend? It's about a 2-3 hour trip, maybe 4 hours with the snow. Any takers? I think I saw one of you parked up in front of the Stater Bros last weekend.

Now, with more recent snow, does anyone want to do do a Big Bear trip in December?

There is already up to a foot in some places. slight chance to get some more tomorrow.

I'd be up for a BB snow trip if the snow isn't too deep. Had an awesome new years day run a couple of years ago. We tried the back way to Holcomb Vally near the dump. Didn't make it far up the hill so we drove around crab flat and had a blast. Somewhere there is a video of me driving my 91 4runner into a snowman. I'll look for the photos...

Hey,
I have not been on here in a long time, but I spent a few hours on a fire trail today and it got me thinking about this forum. I might be up for a run this weekend. Im pretty stock at this point, except for my torsion bar lift and wheels/ tires. Think I would make it with you guys? Here is a pic of my X.
