Title: 28MAY11 Oriflamme & Chariot Canyon

My dad and I had a great time today.  This was his first trip off-road, I don't think he liked the bumpy ride but he definitely enjoyed the view.  Most of these are from his point and shoot camera he brought along.  I think he was kicking himself for not bringing his high end camera, but the photos he took came out really well.  

There were lots of scrapes and bumps on this trip for me.  The added weight of the skids, sliders and a passenger must have dropped the height of the truck pretty low.  Sounds like a lift is in order next.  I'll be checking damage a little closer tomorrow after I get up.

Mary, Lauren and I had a great time as well.  Here are a few of my pictures.  They are a little soft.  Next time I'll double check my camera settings.

Nice rims mitch. I should have given you a deal on old ones.   Was that last picture right 6.90?

I checked underneath, lots of impacts to the engine/oil skid, one nice scrape along the t-case skid and both sliders....ouch.  The frame also has a nice gouge.

Gas was $4.59 in Borrego Springs.  Bummer, but I was too lazy to take the two fivers off the roof and put them in the tank.

oh yeah I need to read lol.  Last time I wheeled with Sterndog. He was filling up my X from his extra cans lol
