Man, I wish we could make it!  Work schedule shifted to a Sunday and Monday days off...and we're in the middle of our Fold phone launch, so PTO is blacked out.  Have fun everyone!

Uh oh.... this doesn't look good :(

Technically, this event is held on private property, so it could still take place, even with the forest being closed. However, any recreation (trail runs, etc) outside of the event would likely be impacted.

Directly from American Adverturists

ANNOUNCEMENT:

I am sorry to bring the bad news, but we have just received confirmation that MRV will have to be RESCHEDULED. We are working with the camp on new dates and will post up here as soon as we have them locked in. Expect an announcement by tomorrow afternoon. I understand that people already have vacation days planned, unfortunately, this is out of our hands.

We hope to see all of you soon

Major bummer. :(

Ironically, I was going to have to cancel and lose my spot for this, as we had another obligation come up for Friday evening that I can't get out of. I guess this gives me another chance to make it.

Sure sucks for everyone who had time-off lined up, especially those traveling from far.

They have rescheduled the event to Halloween weekend.  October 28-31.

It sounds like they might have a Trick-Or-Treat for the kids visiting each campsite. I'm going to see if I can't bring some spooky decorations for my camp. I think it will be a lot of fun but I don't wanna be the guy picking up after all them kids candy wrappers!

I will be heading up early on Thursday and will try to find a spot to hold everybody.  Do we want to go back to the old location on the East side of the site or go back to the location from two years ago in the grass up against the trees?
