The trailer handled great.  With the suspension and hitch that are on it, the trailer can articulate separately from the Xterra.
 Now that we have used it several times, setting up camp is getting fairly simple. Once parked and level, we can set up the basic camp in about twenty minutes.  If we want to put up the fully enclosed annex with the floor and en suite bathroom, that is another half an hour.

So, after the Coyote Flats trip it was time to upgrade the tires:

At first I was going to try using adapters and Xterra rims, but it would have moved the tire too far out into the wheel well, where the tire would be likely to hit.  So I used the factory Black Series rims and upgraded to BFG KO2s, 285/75-R16.  It is the same tire that's on the Xterra now, just not the right bolt pattern.  These tires look much better than the stock ones.

I only changed out the two that popped for now.  I will wait a few months to change out the spares.  The X needs new shoes first.
