Took a little trip out to Johnson Valley yesterday with the wife and some friends. One of my friends recently blew his 4banger jeep so he replaced it with an LS1 (along with just about everything else)... SO, we went more or less to test it out. Had a great time, didn't break anything, AND my wife drove most of the day, which is something she has never done before. I got to teach her how to NOT use the breaks, downshift and let the engine do the work when going downhill. Also, how and when to use the locker. What else... ummm, oh, the difference between 4 hi and 4 low and when to use them. I think she had a good time and the better time she has the more we get to do it. (long story short, the last time we went I got WAAAY off camber and she no like that. My dash had fingernail holes in it!) Anyway, here are some pics. Oh yeah, there were some NICE rigs out there practicing for King of the Hammers. I only got a few pics of one of the rigs but it was an awesome site. I REALLY hope I can make it to the next KotH!
