I once had an insurance agent friend tell me that when involved in an accident to do a few things if possible. 1st was note the exact time of the accident. 2nd was note if the other driver is on the phone or is holding their phone. 3rd ask the accident investigating officer to check the other drivers phone record for the time the accident happened. If the 3rd suggestion proves true then you have a great chance of pinning 100% of the blame on that person minimizing the cost to you. It seems I see more people these days looking down at their lap because they are texting while driving thinking that if they hold their phone down low the cops won't see it and ticket them.
But he said it was stock friendly!!

I've seen it more and more lately, but I love it when a cruiser or a motor pulls up behind/next to a unsuspecting driver, and they're on the phone. It wasn't too long ago that the fines were $25 for driving while on a cell. Now the fines are well over $100, and rising. If its not considered a moving violation already, it should be. A kick in the butt wouldn't be out of line either.

Funny you say that because the officer told me he did check her phone and it checked out ok.. I didn't even ask him to do it. I thought it was policy now or something..
On a good note, I took my sliders down today and my shrock front bumper to the body shop.. Because I don't need the factory side steps they gave me a 400$ credit with the body shop so I'm having them replace torn CV boots, lower ball joints, primer, paint and install my sliders and shrock bumper.  ;D What a deal...

Was supposed to get her back today but deep down inside I knew It wouldn't be ready so I didn't get my hopes up. Good thing because according to the shop they ordered 3 different rear axles before they finally got the right one witch was delivered on Wednesday so now they need a few more days to get all back together. They guy says the first 2 had a different gear ratio then mine. He says mine has a unique gear ratio and they had to get it right.. It's puzzling to me because I thought that a 2003 Xterra 4x4 was the same as a 2003 Xterra 4x4.. Just order same year and model and it will work. Guess not. Anyone know why? Anyways, I should get it back next week some time... Hopefully......

I think the SC has a different gear ratio.  I'm not for sure but the voices are be pretty convincing.
I'd rather be happy than right any day.

Chad,
The XE and SE had different ratios due to the different wheel sizes. XE's with the "Sports Package" had what the sticker specified as a 4.99 (4.10  ???) ratio that I think came standard on the SE's.  Look at the sticker on the inside of the driver side door.  You will see something there that will tell you the ratio.  I can't remember exactly where on the sticker it was but I think it was about 2/3's of the way down.  I would look at mine but Nelly rode away on the back of the flatbed about a month ago.

BTW - I just test drove a new Jeep JK Unlimited yesterday.  Nice motor but they are a bit tight and uncomfortable compared to the X so  :-\

And you had first chance at the skids but  ::)
