Need to Chk Out the Trail?
« on: June 07, 2017, 06:19:04 PM »
Someone on Explorers of the Mojave Desert FB page posted about people blocking trails on 2N02. Is this something we need to be worried about?

Thanks for the heads up Rick.  I'm in to do whatever it takes to call BS on this program.  Please keep us posted and let me know what we can do.

One of the guys over on the AAT group forum is going out on 2N02 this weekend so hopefully we will get some firsthand reports by this weekend. Thanks for posting up about this Rik!

When I did that trail survey there was a large Joshua Tree that had fallen onto the road and previous passers by had widened the road to get around it.  The picture looks like the same area.
Be careful when you follow the masses..... sometimes the "M" is silent.

Great! Hopefully, it's nothing and that picture was out of context.

I did RS to 2n02 (Burns Canyon) on the 27th and saw nothing. This has to be the area east of Viscera Springs Road. If it is, i dont think it falls under our watch.
