Who all is planning on staying in Laughlin? It'll be nice to catch dinner everyone after we clean up. If no one is staying, I'll probably just head back too.

The outlook of the weather for the trip is COLD.  This is on the main floor, so plan on even colder in the mountains.  You've been warned, lol.

On that note, we should all plan on bringing ample firewood, since we'll be in the same camp for 2 nights.  My plan is to bring the equivalent of 4 bundles.

Just a thought after reading several articles online pertaining to minimum manning at the parks because of the government shutdown...We usually all come prepared with trash bags, but maybe we should all bring extras, just in case we come upon large trash piles. I just read an article about Kelso being closed, so visitors might be branching out into other parts of the park and leaving their trash out there.

So I have changed my mind about rolling in Thursday afternoon and spending Thursday night.  But I will be there Friday, mid-afternoon.

All packed (except for my pillow, need that tonight).  Will be rolling out at 0430.  Stopping in Barstow for wood and to visit my aged aunt & uncle.  Expect to be in camp in the early afternoon.
