Awesome Run Today! Lower Big Bear (Warning: 54 Images!)
« on: December 07, 2008, 06:51:32 PM »
I really have to thank Gavin for organizing this run and for everyone's help when I broke my DS. Can't say how extremely fun it was so I'll let the pictures do the talking. The hill sequence is interesting though - lot of dust when the Jeep went up; but not me!

Gavin (xperienced for SCCX): Black Gen 1
Carlos (Chad from SCCX): Yellow Gen 1
Chase: Dark Blue Jeep
Marty: Dark Blue Jeep

I didn't take any more after I broke my driveshaft but I sure someone will post pictures of me being towed off the hillside.

BTW Gavin; you're an AWESOME photographer

Great pictures Oz.  Too bad about the drive shaft.  Glad you made it home.
I'd rather be happy than right any day.

I have a D70S (Nikon) which I had for about 5 years. Pretty foolproof on auto with a lots of 'prosumer' options if you're really a skilled photographer like Frank and Paul. Zoe took half of those shots - he does pretty good!

Zoe did really well, he has a good eye for composition.

What I don't understand is why you parked on that log like that, looks to me like there was plenty of space around it.  ;D  Maybe I'm missing something.

I'll post some additional pics later this week.  This is the only one I shot on my iPhone.

For all of you that didn't make it, it was a blast!  The best part was helping Oz out after he showed up all of the Jeeps.  Its just too bad the photos don't do justice to the hill climbs.   :o

A lot of folks use Photoshop but maybe you might have some image editing software that came with your camera? If not try a google search there may be some shareware type applications on the web.
