In all seriousness, that looked like a really great trip out there. The squeeze looks like a lot of fun and exploring all those old sites would be a hoot.

Thanks for setting this run up Rick.  It was nice to get out and do some exploring by foot and let the legs stretch at the different stops.  The pictures turned out great.

The Squeeze was awesome, but you couldn't pay me enough to go through it.

Thanks for coming out, it was nice to see the family and watch your truck work its magic.

I didnt take many pics, but did get these where you guys made it look so easy getting down into the wash.

Then we camped...cool site with outhouse, fire-pit and space for easily 15 vehicles

Thanks all for making this an enjoyable weekend, good spotting, good company...I vote for a do-over to see if we can make it even better

That looks like a nice little camping spot.  Next time, I might have to camp with you all.  I also second your motion for another trip up there, maybe take a couple of days.  Now that I kind of know how the Canyon is, we'll be able to get through it a little more quickly.  We can also work in from the north, avoid the canyon all together and just hit the historic sites because there are a ton up there.

  I'm voting for this:

Much like your ill fated attempt to organize a "Rock Krawlers" only section of the forum...emphatically "No."  ;)

Looks like good times for sure.  I gotta get off of my "Duff" and get up there.

Yes, it was great to talk to you, even briefly.  I was surprised when you contacted me.  That's pretty good range for simplex.  We were up on the hill near Burro Schmidt tunnel and made contact with someone in Cerro Gordo, via simplex.  Conditions must've been good that day.
