I would like to applaud Mitch for stepping up to host this event and also say that due to the severe constraints placed upon its attendees I will not be able to join the other club members for this joyous celebration.  I will be attending a clothing optional gig at my boss's house instead.

We'll miss you Dan.  Good luck on the promotion.
I'd rather be happy than right any day.

Quinn and Onewaysoldier,
I am going to be working that day and night so if you guys attend this, could you please take a couple of stock rack crossbars I have over to Mitch? I would really appreciate it. I live in Dana Point and work at the Doubletree hotel across from Doheny camp grounds so I am not far from you guys. I could drop them off at your place or you could swing by the hotel and get them from me. Either way is good for me.

Mitch, do you need any of the plastic feet pads off my old rack? I could send those over as well. I know they can break sometimes from garage door contact.
But he said it was stock friendly!!

Ok, unless someone is willing to organize something else, the holiday party will be at my house on December 13th, that is a Saturday, a week from this Saturday.  It will be pot luck so post up what you're bringing.  If time and weather permit, a night run to Joshua Tree NP via Berdoo Canyon could be in the offering.  All I ask is no alcohol please.  BTW, Dan, this is not "clothing optional."

Sounds like a great party.  Wish I could join you guys but i have a conflict that weekend.
Jeff

Mitch, thanks for hosting, but I won't be able to attend.  Our local Xmas boat parade is that night.
I like sammiches.  And bacon.  Sammiches with bacon.  And chips.  Lots of chips.

I am going to try and go to the Christmas party.  As it stands no schedule conflicts.

I'd be happy to take the crossbars up there for you.  I'll shoot you a PM and we'll arrange some sort of pick up.

Mitch, do you want me to bring anything?  Would it be alright if I brought my younger brother and co-driver along with me?

The more the merrier.  The party is potluck so bring what you want.  We will be providing a main dish though I don't know what as of yet.

1PM sounds good to me, that will give me enough time to take the scenic route through Santa Ysabel so I can stop at the Julian Pie Company.  I'll bring fresh apple pies.

If anyone in San Diego wants to caravan let me know.

We will be providing lasagna.  More apple pie Frank?  Do you have something going on with the apple pie lady?
