Title: Help with transmission options for my X
Post by: Parsa on June 27, 2021, 08:53:25 PM
I have a 2000 SE 4WD V6 Auto, "Clifford", and the transmission has been in a slow decline. It still functions, but won't start in drive. When it's cold, I have to shift from 1st gear, to 2nd, to D like it's a manual. I'm looking for a quality transmission source and installer (they don't have to be the same of course). Obviously, I'd want the cheapest price, but I don't want to sacrifice quality or good workmanship. I live in Escondido, but can travel anywhere in SoCal to get the best work and deal.

Oceanside transmission, they have had my business for years. They have saved me money over time in diagnoses and are a stand up business.

Do you know if they rebuild the transmission or use remanufactured ones?

You would have to call them.
