Old Stuff (Machinery and Vehicles)
« on: January 10, 2009, 10:13:40 PM »
This morning I met up with a group called the San Diego DSLR Club for one of their monthly group photo shoots. It was my first outing with this group, and was a lot of fun. They are a good group of people, and anyone in San Diego who is interested in photography should check them out. This month's trip was to the Antique Gas and Steam Engine Museum, in Vista (north part of San Diego County, north of SR-78).  It occupies about 55 acres, and is filled with old machinery and vehicles, primarily from 1859-1949.  Well worth a visit.  Thought I would share a few shots.

All sorts of weird things there. You can barely see it but that's a 1954 Tucker Sno-Cat in the background of the reflection.

Great pictures as always Frank. I got Denise a new camera for Christmas. Maybe you can give her some tips at the next outing.

Kill the headlights and put it in neutral.

great pics, till I got the headlight lens: damm Frank it scared me, I was prepared for that....kidding.....

I liked the sign about diesel making nose and smoke. I always have had diesel envy for the damm near unlimted torque
