Comments:  Joining SCCX has been one of the best things I've done other than buying my X.  Originally it was purchased as a primary work vehicle to take tools back and forth to the jobsites and providing power in the field via the inverter for charging cordless tools.  Since then, it has become our primary family outing vehicle for camping and long road trips.

Thanks.  Its been a tough 4 yrs since I've had it and its finally running good.  went through overheatings, 1 complete rebuild/balance, 1 top end rebuild, oil leaks, slipping clutch, out of work, and so on.

Irwin, I would love to talk to you about the engine building you did. I am always looking to improve the VG33 & it looks like you have done a great job of it.

What type of power increase have you realized - HP & TQ
Where did you get the injectors?
Where did get the ECU upgrade?
Was everything you did worth the cost, cause I know it wasn't inexpensive?
Did you put performance cams in?
Who did the work?

Thanks.  Its nice t see someone interested in motors, the heart of any vehicle.  I've done most of the work myself out of necesity since day 1 because I knew I was going to keep it for a long time.  I think I'm making @ 210 hp and 230 ft.lbs naturally aspirated.  I like to drive on the fast side, set the pace, but on steep fwy climbs, like going north on the 15 or 5 fwy, I woukd really struggle to maintain speed even in 3rd gear.  The port and polish, exh.manifolds inclded, allow motor to breathe more.  But to make power, you need more fuel.  RC Engineering cleaned, balanced and blueprinted the 170cc side-feed injectors ($240).  I think now, I would rather upgrade to a set of 240cc or higher injectors for even more power.  The fuel pump was upgraded to a new-to-market Aeromotive Stealth 340 in-tank pump ($165) and had the ECU reprogrammed by JET Performance ($320).  This allows for a wider injector pulse width (stays open longer per cycle) and modifies/advances the timing curves.
