Title: Last Chance Canyon - 16 July 2016

So, I met up with a couple of guys from SCXF and we hit Last Chance Canyon.  I'll have to say, this is the first time putting my X through a course like this and I was thoroughly impressed.  I took dings on my armor, but that's what it's there for.  Everyone came out, with only two stucks and one broken shock mount on the Jeep.  One stuck was me, where I managed to wedge myself between two rock, the front bumper was caught on one rock and the rear diff was hitting another.  The 4runner managed to find a hidden rack in the dirt and get caught up on the rear suspension.  All in all an awesome day, with beautiful scenery and great wheelin'.  We need to schedule a trip up there when it cools down.  Well, here's the good stuff.

Look like a fun  trip.  From the pictures, it looks like you see a whole lot of nothin' out there.  Not a place to be stranded alone.

That looks like a great place to go for a run at. Looks to me like you had a blast. Once it cools down organize a trip out there and if I can I would love to join and assist you in getting some more desert modifications to those shiny plates and sliders!

It was definitely a fun trip.  In the canyon, you'd be in trouble, but on either end you would be close to 14 (Jawbone Station) on the north end and a busy road on the south end.

I'll definitely look at organizing a trip.  There's also plenty of places to camp, so we could set up a camp the night before or the night of, so everyone can be rested for their trips home.

We didn't even scratch the surface. I'd love to spend a weekend up there. Heck, I live close enough, I might not even need to camp.

Cooler would definitely be better.  It was about 105 when were out there.
