I finally got a chance to put together a video using the drone footage I shot during the SCCX trip to the Goat Canyon trestle bridge last month. I'm still not a pro at using this thing, and the wind was giving me a hard time, but I think it came out pretty good. Enjoy!

So cool..thx Joe.

What's this tunnel?
I'm guessing the road use to go there, but it's been washed away?

When the railroad was originally constructed that was the original route of the railroad, several collapses later they constructed the trestle bridge and a new tunnel to go around the problematic tunnel you circled.

Oh. Cool, thanks for the info.
The tunnel entrance (from the sky) looked like a man tunnel. I'm guessing it's MUCH bigger.

This is great! What drone are you running?
-
Good job Joe..Great spot for a drone, only way to get those vantage points.
Thanks for sharing.

Awesome work! I'd say you have the drone thing down. You want to come fly for the Air Force?

Steve - in the video, I actually flew the drone into that tunnel a little bit. It was super windy and I had a bad vantage point to see how close I was to the walls, so it took me a while to get in there and I didn't stay long. But you can see that it's REALLY collapsed. The whole thing is even super canted in the face of the mountain, that's how much the earth has shifted.
