anyone rocking SPC UCA?
« on: February 14, 2015, 02:02:01 PM »
I have strut spacers and rest are stock. my question is can I just install titan UCA and do an alignment?

or if I do choose on titan uca..I have to use uca and lca together order to work ..

I just want to mininize / have some more clearance on top of coil bucket cheapest possible

2nd questio .. for those with SPC UCA

how does alignment holding up on you guys?  I don't do heavy wheeling . does the alignment nut moves around on you guys?  I'm thinking about getting these over rough country uca

You can't mix titan UCA with Xterra LCA.
Titan UCA has to be used with titan LCA.  Stock titan UCA still suffer from coil bucket contact.

I ran the SPC UCA's before I swapped and had no alignment issues.  They Nut stayed in place without an issue.  The only issue I had with the SPC's was the ball joints...but that was my own fault! The boots tear easily! :)

I think the boot issue is poor design on spc's part.  To align the truck properly the ball joint has to be pushed all the way in and this makes it contact the coilbucket, ripping the boot.  I think everyone that has run spc has figured this out at some point and had to grind down the lip on the coilbucket to stop ripping the boot.

Or where clueless, but fortunate enough to have people who knew better from the start!
