Rebuilding the bumper today....

Shortened the swing arm, relocated a new 1/4" bracket with dual carrier bearings that are greaseable, and added a 90* degree locking latch.

Gas cans are going to be roof mounted..Instead of on the arm.

Got the OME springs, Energy Suspension bumpstops and sway bar bushings installed last night.  Front end seems much stiffer and bouncier.  I can see where the upper control arm contacts the coil bucket.  Not much downward travel left either so I will definitely start sourcing parts for my own Titan Swap.

Well even though it doesn't look like much.   The front diff was rebuilt with few "broken locker parts replaced".   All caused by "The Rubicon" and my anxiety to GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE.   Drove about 12 very tough miles with a broken half shaft while locked (Had to do that to get three wheel drive)  UGLY.   Oh wait I also moved the bottle opener  ;D   Hmm why did I move the bottle opener?

Yes I Finally caved.   That also has Rubicon reasons.   Have you ever tried to change a tire on a hill by yourself (Oh and add injury to insult  1. I had to unload the damn X to get to that stupid three pieces of steel to let the tire down and 2. Lay under the damn X 2ft rocks and all, trying to lower the F$^King tire and then get it off the chain by yourself)  Needless to say I am very happy with my acquisition.   It is a MAXTERRA creation.   Supreme workmanship.  ;D

Nice Terry. Trying to decide if I should jump on your other bumper for Daphne's future Nissan.

Just curious...did you have the RCV half shafts when you ran The Rubicon?

Nope wish I had.  Life would have been better if I had.

I was admiring Jordan's MAXTERRA bumper when we were in Big Bear last week. Superior craftsmanship for sure. I especially like the cut in reverse lights. How long was the wait time Terry, from order to receipt?
