Yeah that was the last time we did a run. It was a great run to. I remember us getting on two wheels and wondering if I was going to roll or not. You remember when i hit the side of that burm? First battle wound for my X lol. I will be there for this run. See you there John

mark I will bring paper plates and plastic knives and forks. Let me know how much of that to bring.

It bugs me alittle to see the words "meat on a stick" after the word Dog......

I am going to try to drive up Saturday if the GF is up for it.

I can bring chips and sodas. How many are going to be there on Saturday night?

It looks like there will be good sized caravan especially on Saturday.  Unfortunately I will not be joining the camp/pot luck because I already have plans Saturday night with the wife.  FYI, there is a chance for isolated thunder storms on Saturday according to weather.com, but Sunday will be sunny and clear.  Will the potential t-storms change plans for this run?

This will be our first time up in Big Bear so I am really looking forward to this weekend.  We are planning some hiking/running early Saturday morning and maybe a run on the Northern side of the lake on Sunday.

Any plans to stop at the ranger station to get a campfire permit in case the campgrounds are full ?

Bummer! Looks like I'm gonna miss the "meatfest" and Paul's Korean BBQ this time. I have a triathlon this weekend (my first!) and will be swimming the murky waters of the Tijuana River... really looking forward to it!

Paul: Nicely done on the response above. If you could please post pictures of the BBQ and stuff... I appreciate it (torture--my stomach just rumbled!).

Take care, tread lightly and enjoy the grass and trees in Big Bear!

Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst!
