Pre Mojave Road MOD DAY
« on: March 15, 2014, 02:31:19 PM »
I'm throwing this out there to see how much interest there is...

This week I'm going to be buying some stuff from PRG (AAL and more) and I'm really hoping to get it installed before THE MOJAVE ROAD.

I was wondering if anyone else has stuff they want to do to their rigs before the trip and I was fishing to see if we could pull a MOD DAY before 4/18

If not, I'm sure I have a place where I can get help on my rig, but I was thinking I might not be the only one in this boat so I thought I'd float it out there....

The only thing I need help installing is my rear cargo rack from Toro.  :D

Let me know when and where.  I'm good at lifting tires!

I am on 'Stand By' for the next few weekends, but I may be able to open the Duff doors on short notice as I find out more.

I could swap a torn CV boot during a mod day.

I would be happy to help.  If I ever get my truck back.   I'm confident it will happen.  :)

I do have some rear diff armor I'd like to install, so I'd be interested in a mod day. :)

OK

I am in need of a friendly location to change my oil (my driveway is more crooked than (insert politician here) and my floor jack left to meet it's maker.

I also need help re-wiring my CB since the removal of the old rack and the addition of the TORORACK.

Please let me know if you can/know of someone who can help.  I am able to bring food/drink/beer/etc.

Who needs a floorjack to replace engine oil?  Do you even lift bro?

You know....not much thought went into that....even at my nubbiest of stages I knew I didn't need a floorjack to do the oil....ugh.

Depending on what day and time, I have a shop with a lift and tools. I would just have to clear out all the old cars in there

I have found a suitor.  Thanks for the offer Nick!

p.s. do you do engine bay cleaning?  I will definitely be in the market for it once we're back from The Mojave Road!
