After 13 years and many mods I'm considering trading in my 2001 SE for something with a little more power... plus it has 178,000 miles on it. Does anyone have an opinion on the 2011?
Thanks,
Guy

Dooo it, loved my 2000 but love my 2012 so much more... Modern suspension is awesome.

Good years,
They got a lot of the bugs worked out by then. No tranny issues, FSU, timing tensioners...
...you'll love it.
-
Do it. You will not be disappointed!!

Some idiot crashed my 2000, had to get a mew 2013 PRO 4X. LOVE IT!
-
I meant new, not mew. Not that any cats are on my mind...

Well, I pulled the trigger and got the 2011 Pro-4X back in August. Drove it to the Tetons and Yellowstone and it is doing great. It was definitely time. No sliders though and before I head off-road I need to fix that. The White-Knuckle look really nice as do the Shrockworks.
Question on the Pro-4... do they all get a factory body lift of some sort? This one definitely seems to be lifted and White Knuckle asks you that question and Shrockworks has a slider for a lifted X.
Thanks and hope to be back out soon,
Guy

No, pro4x just gets bigger tires, comes stock with 32" tires, not sure what size tire is on the lower models(31" possibly)

Agreed, I have a '10 Offroad and white knuckle sliders with no body lift.
Sent from my portable electronic device.

The 2011 is available with leather, so let them know.

Congrats on the new ride Guy. Hope you're doing well, it's been a while. Are you still in the same part of town (down the street from me, more or less)? Your old yellow truck was easily recognizable, I'm guessing the new one is not quite there yet. What color did you get?
The Shrockworks sliders are great, by the way. I had them on my old 2005, and ordered a set for my new 2014. The only thing with Shrockworks is the wait, but the product and customer service is great.
If don't already have a Raingler ceiling net, that is another great addition.
