John Bull night run
« on: May 15, 2018, 10:56:48 PM »
I'm planning a John Bull night run in June. The idea is to hit the gate keeper at dusk and do a night run. There are a few spots to camp out if need be along the way but probably not necessary. Optimally this would be about a five vehicle limit and a whole lot of fun.

Friday or Saturday? Or both? I was confused on the mention of camping

Oh ok. I’ll probably have to pass then. I might be able to make a Saturday/Sunday and definitely make a Sunday/Monday.

Could this tie in with a Gold Mountain run, and give some of us the option to exit the trail before John Bull? I'm not quite ready for JB.

I think we could easily to an afternoon Gold Mtn. Leading up to John Bull. You would be welcome to find a yellow post and camp together although I would suspect we won't be off the trail until about 2000 or so providing everything goes well.

This is definitely something I could try to do, depending on the date. I just figured Gold Mountain would open up the run to few more folks that we haven't wheeled with in a while.  I can definitely find a yellow post site and save it for the masses.

I'd be interested in meeting up for the Gold Mountain portion if it lands on a weekend.
