Really like the RTT. Any pics of it set up?

Here's one. I didn't have the awnings set up but I think you get the idea.

Sorry I just saw your question. It was in the Lost Coast area.

Just installed new Old Man Emu springs, greasable shackles and Bilstein 5125 shocks in the rear last weekend. Thanks to Steevo for the help and the parts! We did some minor testing on a dirt road near his house and the combo feels amazing. He took some pictures and should be posting them up soon.

Updated the first post with a picture of my new bumper custom made by "The King" on Rugged Rocks. If you haven't seen his work he does a great job. Here's a link to a buggy he's building. http://ruggedrocksoffroad.com/forum/index.php/topic,1640.0.html

Hey everyone. It's been a long time since I've done an off roading trip for off roading sake. I don't even recognize a lot of you. After having a daughter two years ago that really slowed down the camping trips but she's getting old enough to start thinking about camping and off roading again. My off road time over the last couple of years has involved mostly travel down to Baja for hunting and exploring which I do 4-5 times a year. My most recent trip last month involved hunting on the cliffs and cooking quail on the beach. The roads are almost entirely 2wd washboards but the PRG suspension is like riding on a cloud.

Back for my 2-year check in. Ha! Had another daughter a year ago. Neither kid likes just sitting in the car if you can imagine that so it makes off roading a bit challenging. Still getting away for hunts in Baja but I am starting to introduce the kids to camping. Camped in the backyard this summer, but that might have set us back a little with all of the coyotes howling. Hopefully we can get out to Borrego when it cools down. I hope to meet some new faces and see some in this community I haven't seen for a long time.
Here's a picture because everyone likes pictures.

Welcome back! I had the pleasure of meeting you a couple years ago, right after I bought my rig. I purchased your OEM 32" spare tire. :)
Your rig still looks beautiful, and I love that photo. Where was that taken?
-
Hello blackx I'm in a similar boat with a 7 1/2 month old and a 2 year old good luck getting out there maybe our little people can play.

Hi Jeff. It's been a long time . . . this is the first I've heard of the daughters. Congratulations. Hope all is well, and nice to see you back. Do you still have Bella?

Hey Frank! Yep, I still have Bella. She's getting up there in age. 9 years old. I have another dog too I adopted a while back. She's also 9 but still acts like a puppy.

I swore having kids wouldn't change my camping habits. Funny how life has other plans. I'm refocused on it though starting this winter. It'll feel like an accomplishment if I get one night out in Borrego. I'll keep an eye on the boards this season. Would love to get the kids out there.
