Hey Home Slice! Great to see you getting out with some folks running trails. Looks absolutely beautiful there. It looks like we will most likely be rolling through your part of the world August/Sept time frame so hopefully we can at least get together for a lunch. It's good to see you happy and doing well!
Yeah, it's nice to have a group to get out with, even if it is a few hours away.  Let me know when you're up here and we'll definitely figure something out.

I was able to join up with the MN Nissan crew again this weekend and run around the Spider Lake OHV area in central MN.  The temps were a little above freezing, so it made the snow soft on the sides of the trail and icy in the grooves.  The conditions definitely made for a fun run, especially when trying to work with some of the less experienced guys in the group.  However, I wouldn't have changed one thing about the run.

SCCX Xcursions / Calcite Mine/ Dos Cabezas Railroad Station
« Last post by Celt on February 05, 2023, 05:57:59 PM »
My Dad is leading two trips through ABDNHA and there is room for anyone who wishes to attend. He's also looking for someone to pre-run both routes.

The Calcite Mine is Thursday, March 9th.

Dos Cabezas is Sunday March 26th.

If anyone is interested in the trips or the pre-runs let me know and I will get you the info. It's no cost through ABDNHA. He's providing BBQ and is asking whoever is in attendance to bring a side dish for the potluck for both trips.

SCCX General Discussion / Re: Demise of Shrockworks?

They posted on Instagram that they were shutting sown the shop but would still be doing special orders and closing out current backlog.  Not surprised in this economy. Unfortunately they were very specialized.
Oh, that's good that hopefully they're trying to make things right with current orders.

Interesting news, I wonder what is happening? I might imagine their target community is shrinking along with the yo yo inflation ridden economy can spell disaster for some of these companies.

SCCX General Discussion / Demise of Shrockworks?
« Last post by RikRong on January 12, 2023, 11:30:36 AM »
I'm not sure if anyone is following the happenings going on with Shrockworks right now, but it appears they just shut down out of the blue.  There are quite a few posts across social media, as well as in just about every off-road related forum.  I never did like their business practices, but there is no doubt they were huge in the community.  So far, SW has been comms-out, but hopefully they'll release some sort of statement soon.  There are many people on the Nissan pages saying they had money if for product they had not received yet.  Hopefully, Shrock didn't just cut and run with everyone's money.  We'll see what happens...
