Title: Dishpan, Holcomb, and John Bull (3-16-15)
Post by: 0317 on March 17, 2015, 10:39:23 PM
On 03-16-15, I took my father in-law up to Big Bear, CA for some true 4x4. It had been 17 years since he had seen Dishpan Springs and oh how he said it has changed. It was his first time on Holcomb Creek and John Bull (his favorite). He took 1016 photos while we were up there, but here are some I thought I'd share.

Dishpan Springs

Thanks for the comments.

Steeevo, we should plan a run for Mottino Wash. Been thinking about doing it but, been waiting for other capable rigs to join.

Did real good! and yeah, nice to have so many pictures taken :) wished I had more of my previous adventures.

About 12 years ago, I took my Grand Cherokee 5.9 (ZJ) on the "easier" part of John Bull and it was challenging, but fun. Jeep was lifted 5.5", 32's and sliders..disco'd SFA helped  ;D

that trail is in big bear ?  looks very technical . think 2in spacer lift and and 2,5AAL with 33's is doable there ? 4x4 w/o locker here

Think twice...those are black diamond trails.

You can do it...buuuut damage will be a certainty.

No

On a spacer lift......You absolutely need sliders, skid plates, bumpers and a locker.

.....and even then, you'll probably get your @$$ handed to you.
