Well i havent died...yet. If im up for it the plan is hiking/herping throughout the day. and a trip to calcite mine in the evening for some 4x4/photography/herping fun. Drive back at night then either go home or camp somewhere. This will be Sunday.
Let me know what you think. Might also do part of Coyote canyon. No rocky hill of doom though.

Chris,

I'm still thinking of going out there, but I was thinking more along the lines of the area where I was 2 weeks ago, or maybe Sandstone Canyon.  I would be there for a day trip so no night run to Calcite Mine for me.

As it stands now I have tentative plans to join a San Diego photography group on Saturday morning but I have not committed to that, if Saturday is the day you want to come down I'll meet you out there instead. Otherwise I'll probably go to the desert on Sunday.

Are you planning to camp?  It may rain a bit, and it will probably rain/light snow a lot on the roads in, so be prepared for a long drive.

If this weekend does not work due to weather, I can meet you out there on Saturday the 21st as well. Heather and I have plans for the 22nd so that Sunday is out. We're going to watch the last stage of the Tour of California bike race.

Well I am game but I dont know where to meet up with anyone. I need an point to put in the GPS. I am feeling day trip at the moment due to amount of work in my new classes.
