Well then it is about change, I'm suspecting, in many ways.  Good for you John.

Let's do the math: Reducing the pay check and adding a spouse...

It sounds like Alex's paper route must really be paying off ::)

Seriously John, Congrats on all of your wise decisions.

PS  Maybe the BOD wasn't the cause of your stress, just a symptom ???  hint, hint.

Well...it was one cause of stress that I eliminated...now on to another career with no Blackberry umbilical cord.  Looking forward to "not" managing anything/one for a little while.

I'd like to make it up this year but that will be contingent on flight schedule.  I'm hoping to get my new front and rear shrockworks bumpers in time. *crosses fingers*

That was the "fun phone."  Somehow never managed to ditch the "hum drum phone"...until now.  (Thanks Daphne!!  ;D)

I'm set to go this year. I've been coming up outta luck on places to stay during the event. I'd rather not be sleeping on the ground if I can avoid it all. If anyone needs additional folks to go in on a Condo, I'd sure be willing to pay my fair share of the bill.

I have been known to travel with really good craft beers......

Was able to book a cabin so I'm good. Not fancy but it has A/C and a pool so I'm good to go.

And a cabin? in town?

I'm planning on leaving here on the 16th and stay with family in Vegas overnight. Get up at o'dark stoopid thirty to meet up with a group that's being formed on the Gone site @ 0630 to head out from the racetrack, you guys probably familiar with that routine though. I imagine it should take 6-8 hours for that leg as it probably won't move faster than the speed of slow.  The place is in the south part of town off the main road so I'm in a perfect spot.

Believe me, I know, but the pay for going to Europe will be pretty nice.  Should help fund more mods to my X. :P
