To start off let me explain that the process of sourcing and pricing my swap has been both a fun and educational process. I think I have put together quite the practical and budget minded system. The way I figure I should end up with about 4" of lift all the way around with way-better-than-stock travel. Please let me know if I am missing anything or if you have any tips that could help.

In hand:
dorman oem Titan uca's and lca's
Struttek oem tundra coilovers (changing to x tophat)
      Prg tie rod extensions
Prg braided extended front brake lines
Prg adjustable shackles, 3deg shim, bilstein rear shocks, dual AAL (PRG Deluxe rear kit)

Awaiting delivery:
      Prg t-swap extended cv shafts
Rear brake line 90 degree bracket
That being said, delivered, I am into this mod $1400 so we will see what that turns out.

Also I am debating what size tire to go with going to stick with stock 16" rims for now so... at's are a must but do I go 32...33...?

Hey dude,
Welcome to the forum. One of the things we do here is help each other out and share information.
I'd like you to research the choice of using OEM UCA's for your build. Although cost effective, you will not be able to align your front end.
That said.....anything less than 33's will look goofy running a 4" lift.

Good advice on the UCA's...posted some gearing info on your welcome thread too.

You are headed in the right direction, and we are here to help.  :) :)

Well... Had one hell of a mod session up here. Day one: first things first had to wash the mud off. Then pulled my sway bars and mud flaps, blacked out all of my technicolored plastics (good ol' Wally-world rattle cans). After that I swapped in my new braided brake lines and changed my fluid. Then went down and got my tires mounted and set up for my alignment. Then had a bunch of beer ...good times! Day two: on to my suspension... installed my t-swap first everything went on great except for the fact that I was still waiting for my axles from prg(they came today, of course) so I'm 2wd for now. Then "slapped" on my deaver aal, shims, and shackles. Finally... Alignment, my guy is a wizard we were able to get everything straight and square! And then more beer!!!

Congrats on the sap.  You'll love it and wonder why Nissan didn't make them this way from the beginning.   I've had mine for two years now and even more insanity with taller springs and wheel spacers.  I haven't found an obstacle that I wanted to try get in my way.

From the above read .... correct me if I'm wrong...he didn't have a chance to install the front, extended axles, so he's currently 2wd only.

Good luck, swapping the CV's was a real pain in the A$$ and really messy.

Finally got my axles put together..(used a whole bag-o-rags!! Lol) puting them in was a piece of cake but like any new experience the first side took about 1.5 hrs and the other took all of 20 mins. Never fails. After all is said and done my dash still looks like a Christmas tree but I'm going to try some reset procedures recommended by ghost... We shall see.

Fixed the Christmas tree situation... Thanks ghost! Turned out being my brake fluid was about half an inch below the max fill line. Topped it off and boom done. I made a trip up the bald mountain trail on Saturday ran like a champ looking forward to making some more runs before the end of summer thanks for all the input everyone

I made a run to the top of bald mountain yesterday morning to fully test the capabilities of my X... I made one hell of a go at it and could not be more pleased with my results!

Looks good.  Now you need tires with some bite and you can go almost anywhere.  Those Titan Swaps have a tendency to give  a false sense of capability, which in my experience lands you in some difficult situations. ::)

Woody, I think you hit the nail on the head there. Both of us are pretty close with our rock crawling estimations of the slide and the glide as to the where and the with all of the situation concerning the X.

I can go along with that I could use some beefier tires but as this is still my daily driver I'm against totally f-ing up my mpg... As for the "false sense of capability" my rig easily took me everywhere I wanted to go I know my capabilities, so I think I'm just smelling some jelly bellies over here. ;) :D
