NOOB!
« on: October 31, 2012, 09:50:53 PM »
Hi Guys and Gals!
Name's Anthony and I'm from Long Beach, just picked up my first xterra last week 2012 S 4x4 super black. Was looking through all the forums and found you guys. Seems to me that you guys are the best to be apart of if you want to actually get out, meet people and learn. I've always wanted to get into some proper off roading I've done some in the past but all I ended up doing was totalling my truck. Anyways I'm glad to see you guys do get togethers, I'll be ready for the next one.  :D

Welcome Anthony!!!

You're in the right place with the right ride. Your truck is very very capable right off the lot. However, as you've probably noticed, we can't seem to help ourselves from modifying the crab out of our rigs, no matter how capable they are.

Please let any one of us know if you have any questions. I look forward to meeting you. BTW, Long Beach is my alma mater.

Welcome to the club!  :)

Check out the links in your welcome email and let us know if you have any questions.

Hope to catch you on a run soon, and post up some pictures of your new ride in the Display Case thread when you have time.

Welcome Anthony.  I'm glad to see you on the forum and hope to meet you on an Xcursion or two.  I would like to echo the statement:  If you have any questions about your rig or wheeling don't hesitate to ask.  There are a number of people that would love to help a fellow Xterra owner in any way.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't think any mod is going to get rid of those crabs.  Don't you need some kind of special shampoo for that?  I think that would fall under maintenance,
and then install armor to prevent further infestations.

I like soft shells...steamed with a little spice and a cold Corona.

Oh yeah, welcome.  You should definitely invest in a cb right off.  Cheap and easy mod, and you'll be able to listen in on the buffoon-ery.
