Well, if I remember correctly, you're like 12teen, so I'd leave the beer purchasing to us old folks....  ;)

Lmao.

Looks good Adio. Now just for some big boy tires too.

Do I look like I'm made of money?  ;D

Ahaha I'll throw on new tires eventually, today I'm making a shovel and axe mount for my roof rack.

This is what I came up with.

What is that lower piece called, Toro? That you fit the QuickFists to - I couldn't find it at HomeDepot and ended up just using pipe hangers (still worked but only holds 1 clamp)

It's an exhaust clamp welded to a piece of 1" flat stock.

I'm doing something slightly different than that, whenever I get sliders and then a hi-lift I'll probably just do that. But I'm using Pipe repair clamps, and then drilling 2 holes in the shovel and axe and mounting one ontop of the other. I'll have it done tomorrow, I just need to get the right size clamps.

Love your idea though! I saw your thread on thenewx on it.

I need to saw the bolts down, but it's a really nice and sturdy mount.

Rotate that shovel 180 degrees and the blade will contour your vehicle and not stick out whacking things or making drag. :)

You see since I don't have any armor weighing me down and there's an eagle on the rear of my car... The chances of my X picking up and flying are pretty high, so the drag from that shovel is a must.

No just kidding haha good suggestion.  ;D

I'll fix that tomorrow, I had to buy a new shovel and more clamps to re-mount it today. The shovel as seen in the picture you quoted is broken because that kind of material isn't meant to be drilled into... Now I decided to put clamps around the new shovel without having to drill into it, and I re-mounted it to the position seen in the picture. I'll take pictures of it tomorrow.

Yeah I noticed a crack towards the bottom of the shovel and I pulled it off and put some pressure on and it started cracking even more... I'm not sure what I was thinking drilling holes into that kind of material. The axe is fine though.
