Nice Nomad!  yours looks a little more "complete" than mine. Where'd you find the pouches?

3 of the pouches came with the Molle seat covers I used to have.  One of them (right next to the red rags) is a condor tear away pouch I ordered from Amazon.  When I put the panel in, I had the Olympic rack out.  After putting it back in, I realized the pouches sit a bit low and are tough to access.  At some point, I will move them up a bit.

Today as I was leaving work I noticed that I had a burned out passengers side headlight.
Being the good law abiding citizen that I am (read I don't want a fixit ticket) I headed over to the local Autozone and bought myself a replacement.

Total was $17.38, which is funny.

I thought it would be relatively straight forward, pop it out pop the new one in.

Turns out, the combination of the batteries proximity to the headlight housing and my giant man hands, more disassembly was required!  I texted Jordan, he told me what to do, I did it, called him again, got some more advice, and finally got everything all sorted out.

What I did

So for those keeping track at home, add headlight bulb replacement to the "It's so easy, steve c can do it"

Rik, Who made that bumper?
It was made by P&P Engineering. http://p-p-engineering.myshopify.com/collections/xterra-gen-ii-2005/products/2nd-gen-2005-nissan-xterra-tube-front-bumper  It turned out pretty nice, but be wary of their customer service.  It took me just over four months to receive it, when quoted 6 weeks.  There was a guy that was local to them that ordered two weeks after I did and received his bumper 1.5 months before I did.  This seems to be their MO and is fairly well documented on some other forums.  They treat their local customers pretty well, for the most part, but long distance customers seem to have issues.  I had to threaten a payment dispute to get the thing shipped.  The overall quality is excellent and it's pretty well engineered.  However, there is some welding splatter here and there.  You'd be better off finding somewhere local to make a copy.  I've offered up detailed pics to someone else that asked about having one fab'd locally.

This was the rack that made me go out an buy a welder.

Panels look awesome!

I mainly like them because they protect the windows from the inside. I'm always lugging around baseball gear or chairs up there.

I picked up a Lisle no-spill funnel and "burped" all of the air out of my cooling system today. No more cold air from the heater at idle. :) In case anyone is wondering how this works, I used this method: http://www.thenewx.org/forum/11-powertrain-driveline/39744-how-bleed-air-coolant-line-2009-2011-xterras.html My understanding is that it's a different method for the 05-08 (something about a t-fitting near the heater core inlet on the fire wall?)

That reminds me of the time where I was visiting a friend in San Diego, and my starter motor was starting to give out. Sure enough, as I was heading back and picking up some errands and birthday gifts, in one of the parking lots down there I just couldn't get the starter to turn over. Luckily enough there was an Autozone in the same shopping complex, so I picked up a new starter motor, and got to work switching the starter at night in the parking lot. An hour-ish later everything was bolted up and I was rolling again.
