Title: 2013 Xterra makes a strange noise

When I turned off my X I was still inside and about 4 minutes later it made this strange mechanical sound? Anyone know what that is

I think it's an air conditioner thing. 

Also, I could be full of crap, WHO KNOWS!

It was more than likely your vents shutting down, mine does it all the time. Kinda sounds like a propellar hitting a shroud at very low speed for about two seconds then stops.
