Looks like the same colors as BNSF but not arranged the same way.

Hi Phil, glad to see that you made it over here and are connecting with a great group of "local" X owners.

I agree, Frank is a great photographer.  Check out his last photo post on thenewx, with photos of the Desert Five Spot opened up.  Beautiful.

I have changed my username over there and will eventually here too, to DzrtX, to match my recently ordered personalized plates.

Great post Phil!  As a closet rail fan, I have gone out to the Dos Cabezas siding, and would like to one day check out the Carizzo Gorge trestle.  It is about a 2-2.5 mile hike from Dos Cabezas, but some very cool history of the original San Diego and Arizona rail line is out there in the desert.  8)
