Title: Rechargeable batteries
Post by: Celt on November 06, 2021, 07:25:00 PM
I have been changing a lot of things around with my smaller battery systems to power up the gadgets I have. I have read that the "EBL" brand of batteries have good reviews. I know that there are only so many battery manufacturers out there and they re-brand many of them. I would like some input as to what you guys think are the better re-chargeable's to buy.

I started using the red EBL lithium aa and they last way longer then the nihm version.  They give a steady 1.5v vs the drop that NIHM has

I did make a purchase of the EBL's in AAA and AA but not the Lithium's. I'm curious to research if I would really be gaining much over the 2800mAh High Capacity Precharged Ni-MH AA Rechargeable Batteries I bought vs. Lithium. Another really dumb question is would the standard charging USB unit I have work with the Lithium's???

No it will not work. See the picture I text you. I have two separate chargers.

The down side of the EBL NIHM charger is it require a pair to charge. My issue with that is my kids toys use 3 aas so one is always not charge and the dumb chargers can’t figure out how to balance two unequal cells.

I got a new NIHM charger that lets me charge individual battery.

So you need an even number of cells. Interesting but good info.
