MOD DAY (17 April 2010)
« on: September 06, 2009, 09:37:18 PM »
Got any plans for the third weekend in April of next year?  I ordered the front bumper for my truck from Shrockworks a couple of weeks ago and I'm keeping my fingers crossed it will be here by then.  If not, we can reschedule.
I eat other peoples food.  It's a sickness.

Nice...mod days are always fun.  That is a really long wait though, about 8 months?  Did you order it when they had the summer sale?

I should be getting my Shrock sliders in on Tuesday.  Fortunately they are from a 3rd party vendor and it will only be about a week from order to delivery.  I noticed that I did scrape and slightly dent the very bottom of the rocker panel lip on Gold Mt., so they will come in handy.  It will give me a little more confidence going down the moderate section I almost attempted out by Elliot Mine.

Next up will be some Shrock skids but I hope I don't have to wait 8 months. :P  I saw on thenewx.org that ARB just came out with a 2nd Gen X bumper.  I wonder if they will be able to turn them out a little faster.

I should be able to be there.

Are you sure that's not too soon though?

Dan, is this mod day clothing optional and is John invited?
I'd rather be happy than right any day.

Mitch, Yes and Yes.

But the BIG news is I'm getting my bumper Monday! I almost can't believe it's true. 10 weeks.  I'll have to move the mod day up quite a bit.

10-weeks?

Impossible!  ::)

You must be getting the mounting bolts, the bumper will follow in four months.  :D
