After working on your X, do not store your Maglight for a few weeks inside your torsion bar adjuster and skidplate.  It makes for a clanky ride and doesn't help the flashlight any.

When I was a kid I had my car in for repairs. Driving the thing home from the shop I kept hearing "ting ting ting" so after the last one I stop and looked to see what was falling off my car ... Snap-On wrenches! I carefully went back along my track and picked up like five out of the set of eight!

No.  But the new batteries slipped past the dent and it works fine now.

We had a 21' Chapparal bowrider when I was a kid, and the mechanic replaced the exhaust manifold right after we purchased it.  About a year later, we opened up the engine compartment and found a mag light shoved under a few hoses.  I clicked it on, and it worked!  It withstood a trip to Catalina, a ski trip to Havasu and several day trips to Newport, all sitting inside the engine compartment of a 350 MerCruiser.  Not bad!
