Like!

My parents are coming into town this weekend to visit, otherwise I'd stop by and hang out for a bit. I'd love to observe/help with that spark plug project, as I'll be due for plugs myself in a few more months.

Have fun wrenching guys!

That's why I decided to invite folks.  Sooner or later, you're going to need to do them and from what I've read, there is a little mystique about changing at least one of them.  Jordan says they're easy, so we'll see!

I'd be up to helping, but already have other plans: either going to go shopping for a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk (!, wife's car), or go explore Silverado Canyon rd. Maybe next time.

I have a prg SAAL and u-bolt flip kit I'd love some help/insights on. I've already got 0-2"5100s on the rear. Also my front ends been making a clunking the last couple weeks.  I took the wheels off and gave everything a shake and can't seem to diagnose it.  Again, I'd love to learn more from one of you vets.

Check your front sway bar end links/mounting bolts.

Again, I'd love to learn more from one of you vets.

Flattery will get you everywhere with this crew...beers and burritos might have you rounding second base.  ;)

Not to derail the thread, but I second what Ghost has suggested. I had a clunky rattle in my front end a while back and it turned out to be the sway bar end link on the driver's side. I couldn't get it to replicate the noise at all when I was under there pounding and wiggling things. Eventually the end link ball joint separated and the end link rotated to the point that it was barely making contact with a balancing weight on the inside of the wheel when I was at full turn (that wasn't the noise I heard originally - that was a second noise that started after the ball joint fully separated). The sway bar end links on our vehicles are very short, and once we go up about 2 inches, we're putting a ton of stress on them. I disconnected the sway bar entirely and threw it in the garbage. Didn't like the squishy ride at first, but now I've gotten used to it and I LOVE the extra articulation. :)

Everything went pretty well.
We got Brian squared away... all he needed was some Jordan guidance and he was off to the races.

I replaced my air filter and a windshield wiper squirter.  Very happy about that.

Jordan replaced my spark plugs which as it turns out, you do need to yank the intake manifold.
Then we replaced the Tcase front driveshaft output seal and flange.
This proved to be a bit of a pain in the ass.  It was difficult to seat the seal correctly.  We had a piece of PVC pipe, a 2x4, pry bar and hammer to get it sorted.
We put my skid plates back on and called it a day.

I actually didn't take any photos.  Not sure why, lol

Jordan is a trooper though.  He was just getting over being sick and didn't sound all that great.
I, apparently, have gained allergies in my old age.  Sneezing all damn day!

Want to give Randy a huge shoutout for again opening his driveway and tool box to some scumbag off raoders.
In trade, we got his camera to take pics through is spotting scope.  He's pretty thrilled about that.
