I dunno bout you guys but I'm getting pretty excited about this trip. It doesn't help that I have been going over threads on the internet about peoples trips and how they have their stuff setup. Speaking of that, is anyone bring their trailers that they have been working on?

Anybody with extra time, check out Randsburg it's only 1.3 miles off Hwy.395
if you haven't been there it's worth the visit.

Sorry to hear you won't be able to join us.  Good luck with the career change.

No, Randsburg is a town where people go to be forgotten.

Have you checked everyone's HAM license to make sure it's valid?

Can I bribe you with a delicious ham to skip over my license validation?

Last minute details: I am leaving San Diego at noon today, heading for Lone Pine and the Comfort Inn.  Some folks are meeting Friday night for pizza at 7 p.m. in Lone Pine.  Official meetup is Saturday morning (9 a.m.) at the trailhead, where we will air down, have a briefing, and check our communications.  We will depart no later than 10 a.m.  The weather is looking great.  Remember your $20 donation for the Cerro Gordo folks.
