True.  But the trail isn't as bad from the bottom up as it is from the top down.  The tricky part would be getting it turned around once we were at the Olds.
“I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do.” ― Robert A. Heinlein

Tricky might be an understatement. The only way it would work is if it's short enough to do a zero radius turn on the trail. We'd have to disconnect it from the rig that was towing it, turn it around by hand, and hook it up to another rig that was behind it. That could work though.

I just ran 2N02 over the weekend, from Pioneertown all the way to the top. The Olds is in the exact same place, in the exact same condition. The road isn't bad, but this was the first time I was paying close attention to how easy it would (or wouldn't) be to get a trailer up there. My original thought (before running it again this weekend) was to come down from the top, but I'm not sure that's such a great plan anymore. I agree with Jordan - there's no way a low-riding trailer is going to get this done, even coming up from the bottom. We'd need something with halfway decent ground clearance so we're not dragging it across every little obstacle, especially if it's longer than 8 feet or so.

Here's the Olds as of Friday:

That Olds-Pontiac-Buick whatever is my arch nemesis. I am fed up with this ugly hunk of rust.  It is my mission, my Moby Dick!
I will go up there on any Monday-Thursday and cut it to pieces if I have to, and get it to the pick-up site.
Who else can make a weekday happen?

Okay Capt. Ahab, with a little pre-planning I should be able to swing (innuendo in 3, 2, 1) a day trip to help you with your...white whale.  :D

Nah... he carries a spare now. :D So in typical new boyfriend fashion, I just swoop in and take advantage of all of the hard work that someone else already did.

OMG, there's cameras everywhere!  Should I be worried now that you kept that photo of me, or wait until you make it into a T-shirt.
