Thanks to Alex and Jason for coming out. It was nice to meet you Jason and nice to see you again Alex. It's a good start to something I hope can be a regular thing. I know it was a busy weekend for everyone, but there will be other opportunities. Now for the pics...

I had a chance to hang out with Team Blue today; it's was rad! ;D Rowher Flats was a great spot to go after breakfast, we had to turn around before too long because of time, but I'd definitely go back there the next time we meet.

Aside, my day today according to Google Maps was exactly 300 miles: Riverside > Lancaster > Palm Desert > Riverside :D

Pretty slim. Ha-ha

It was raining off and on but nothing too bad. It kept things cool and kept me from getting a sunburn.

Looks like a good time. I have to get my seals replaced and hopefully my schedule works out for the next one.

It was definitely a good time. I never realized the extent of this place. The main road is a little worse than Cleghorn, and there are a ton of side chutes like Cleghorn. We need more time back in there to explore. The only thing that is not fun is the constant motorcycle and UTV traffic, we had to be careful going around curves to avoid those guys. Also, it looks like someone rolled their Jeep up there around the same time we were up there, but I'm just now seeing it posted on the SoCal Off-road Recovery page.

It was great meeting up with Rick and Alex. Rowher flats was definitely busy. I'd like to spend some more time there and check out the rest of the area.  I'm still going through the video from my cam, the files ended up being rather large. Once I've got something that is decent I will post it.

Yep, come out next time. I was thinking about having breakfast at the Mojave airport then hitting the Cal City OHV area, but after seeing what Rowher is like, I think I'm going to stick with the same plan next month and get further back into the area.
