May 3rd, 2014 Big Bear
« on: April 30, 2014, 05:05:40 AM »
After a most difficult weekend past, Saturday May 3rd I'm going to make a run up to Running Springs and Big Bear area.   Going to meet up with LupinOne, make some quick mechanical adjustments and then going to do some wheeling.   Possible options are taking 2n02 to Tip Top Mountain and Pontiac Sluice.  Will up a fun moderate to upper moderate wheeling day.  Get some AAT hours.  Check out our great members work with the Olds.

If you come, bring food and water ??   Lunch will be on the way.

Meet up time and location will be determined later.

I have a 8am meeting in Lake Arrowhead with the Fire Department I need to be at but it should be done by 930ish. Back at my house by 10am and in Big Bear by 1045.  I'm thinking cold beer and meat on the grill after... :D

Sounds great.   I would like to stop by your house for the  spare handoff on the way.  So I will plan to see you somewhere around 10ish your house.

Anybody that would like to join us please let me know and we can set up some appropriate meet-up places all along the way.

You got it Tom anytime.  I have GoneMoab coming up which will limit my options during the month of May.  After that I'll be up for anything to get me out of what I'm doing right now.   ;D :P

If you're ham, I can keep one of my radios listening on the Big Bear repeater ( 147.330+ 131.8 ) and we can hook up some where.
