It took 9 years of learning, fabricating, and planning and I finally had the chance to make a dream come true.

This past September I lead a small team on the Dusy Ershim. We took three days and had the trip of a lifetime. It was a great time with my son and brothers.

All 33 miles of this trail is everything it claims to be. The best example of its' difficulty is this, take the hardest part of the John Bull, you're pretty much running that for 33 miles over 3 days without much of a break.

The X held up well. However, I'm probably going to re-spring the front end before I run this trail again. It was a bit too tight and there was a bit too much body roll. I may also remove the 3rd link and convert it to a Radius Arm setup so that I can fab in a Currie anti-rock sway bar.

That is freaking awesome! I would agree on the sway bar. Off camber stuff gets sketchy w/o one when you are so springy

Why can't you run the sway with the current set up?

I bought a Currie anti-rock sway bar system when I did the SAS a few years ago. My plan was to mimic what the Calmini guys did with theirs on their SAS kit. Unfortunately, by 3rd link goes right through where the sway bar would have to sit.

There's no room in front of the axle with the steering linkage.

The Calmini one goes here. Radius arm buy the clearance to pull this off.

Hmmm pretty tight can't re think the steering and have it run on the front?

If you can somehow lower that tierod, you might be able to get a tab out to mount the sway bar end links
