Since nobody seems to be doing organizing any socal runs, how about a short 2.5 mile run with a 2 mile hike to a local waterfall that I just heard about?  It's called Bonita falls and Third stream falls in the San Bernardino mountain range going up Sierra Ave to Lytle Creek Rd.  I'm following the trail advice off of a book called "The definitive Guide to Waterfalls of Central and Southern California.  Or there is a dedicated offroading trail with a staging grounds up Azusa Ave. about 10 miles into the canyon where I've seen other offroad groups gathering for a trail run?

First, I need to know how many people would be up for the trail run, then based on that number, we'll set a date, hopefully in early Spring '09.

So how about it?  Who's up for a SoCal trail run?

It's looking like mid-Jan '09 for the trip.

Used to hike that area all the time.  There a few waterfalls up there.  It is well worth the trip.
