I may try to make this, though it's quite a drive for me.  Does anyone else live in North County, or just me?  I would definitely make it to one closer to me if we happened to rotate locations.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Unless something crazy happens at work I can generally be at that location by around 6:00PM-ish. 

Maybe start a separate thread for the specific date - might be easier for people to spot?

I am out of town this weekend, but I will tell you that the guys on Club Frontier have a meet planned for Fiesta Island on Saturday. Maybe you can combine the meetup? They are planning to BBQ. I will post up over there right now to see if it's okay that you guys join. Whether you do it or not is up to you.. I'll post back here with response..

There is a group headed out to Anza Borrego this weekend with Frank B., casual day of hiking and trails.
