has anyone been up to morton peak lately? with all the rains the last few months, how are the trail conditions? would anyone be game for a day trip up to the lookout tower then take the trail to thomas hunting grounds and out through angeles oaks? for those who havent been up there its a scenic 4 wheel trail (although Im sure you could make it up there with 2wd and some decent tires) that overlooks mentone, yucaipa, san bernardino, behind 7 oaks dam just to name a few places
in some places and depending on weather and smog condition you can see out at least 30 sq mi. its mostly fire road but its maybe 14miles start to finish. let me know what you guys think and then maybe we can put a date on this thing
