hey everyone my buddy's gonna weld me up some rock sliders but hes never done xterras before so he needs the measurements. im not sure what the demensions are supposed to be so i was wondering if you guys can help me out Grin

Your best bet would be to check over at thenewx.org,  I'm pretty sure there are a few threads about making sliders.

If you look in the older threads for the 1st Gen. X, you'll see that I already posted a how-to article with pictures and detailed drawings with measurents  for building a set of rock sliders.

If y6nu are going to have soneone custom make these, that person needs to get down there with a tape measure and get his own measurements.

Lemghtwise they should be identical.  The mounts might be a bit different but thats something that you welder has measure for.  Its actually not that hard to do, just time consuming to ensure good welds.  I built mine with a small 120V Harbor Freight wire welder, took my time, and it has been trail tested without a single problem.  Paid about $180 in material, took about 1 week to build.
